Bowen Earns Activity Professional Certification
(Medford) Betty Bowen, recreational therapy manager at Memorial Nursing & Rehab Center, recently earned a certificate of achievement from the National Association of Activity Professionals Credentialing Center (NAAPCC). She is now recognized as a board-certified activity professional.
As recreational therapy manager at Memorial Nursing & Rehab Center, Bowen directs quality-of-life programming at the facility. She designs and delivers recreational and life-enriching activity programs aimed at enhancing the well-being of those living and receiving care at the skilled-nursing facility, as well as for those taking part in Memorial Health Center’s Swing Bed rehabilitation program.
In order to receive her board-certified credential, Bowen successfully completed a competency exam set forth by the National Association of Activity Professionals.
