Check Advance Incites Smiles from 50+ Children
(Medford) The Medford Check Advance store collected 50+ stuffed animals and donated them to Memorial Health Center Foundation with the expectation that they will brighten the lives of children visiting Memorial Health Center for immunizations or for urgent care services.
“As a means to give back to the communities we serve, Check Advance coordinates a charitable event every year,” said Trudy Jorstad, Check Advance Center Manager. “The children of Taylor County are our focus and what child wouldn’t smile when presented with a stuffed animal?”
“It is always gratifying being a part of a child’s happiness,” said Catherine Doucette, Memorial Health Center Foundation’s Executive Director. “Check Advance’s thoughtfulness will be the cause of many smiles.”
Mid-Wisconsin Bank and K-Mart Stores (in Medford) assisted Check Advance in its efforts by accepting stuffed animal donations at their locations as well.
The Memorial Health Center Foundation is a 501©3 nonprofit organization.
