Memorial Health Center Simplifies Billing for Patients

(Medford) Memorial Health Center, an Aspirus partner, recently completed the first step in providing its patients with an easier billing process. Billing for services provided at Memorial Health Center Clinics’ locations in Medford, Gilman, Phillips, Prentice, and Rib Lake, will now be handled in Medford. Patients may now direct all their questions about both their hospital and their clinic bills to Memorial Health Center’s Patient Financial Services staff in Medford.

Previously, the Aspirus Central Business Office in Wausau managed billing for Memorial Health Center Clinics’ services while Memorial Health Center in Medford managed the billing for its hospital services. Patients would need to contact the Aspirus Central Business Office for questions about their clinic billing statement.

Plans to further simplify billing statements for patients are underway. The ultimate goal is to provide patients with a single, easy-to-follow billing statement that includes both hospital and clinic services.
